About us

KISTENMACHER have now been one of the leading exporters of premium quality spare parts for the automotive industry for over 40 years – and we're still just as passionate about our work as we were when we started. Our expertise derives from many years of experience working in the Near- and Middle East. That’s why so many well-known OE and OEM suppliers put their trust in KISTENMACHER. Our vast experience in other markets and with other cultures has been one of the decisive factors in our expansion into the markets of North- and South-Eastern Asia that began in 2005. In the meantime, we have maintained long-term partnerships with many customers in the countries of these regions and, through us, they have access to an enormous range of products that now includes over 10,000 different spare parts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, MAN, Scania and Volvo vehicles.

News & Innovations

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is mandatory
The demand for the sensors running in tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) is growing faster and faster. Several market research apply sales figures until 2023 of about 1 Million sensors for the Middle East region.

As the UAE government is following EU regulations please find below the status for TPMS mandatory regulation for GCC Countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain):
Regulation: Based on R64 or FMVSS 138
Mandated vehicle category: PC, MPV & LCV’s of less than 3.5 Tons
Implementation date for new vehicle type: 2016 model year
Implementation date for all vehicle type: 2016 model year

According to above stated rules all new car models need to have a TPMS on board. Therefore the demand for the sensors will increase every year.

Main reasons for replacing the sensors of the TPMS:
• BATTERY – after 3-5 years in use the battery runs low and the sensor need to be replaced.
• BREAKING FROM VALVE – a problem with the valve or a damaged valve may also break down the sensor.

SCHRADER® is the worldwide leading manufacturer of sensors for TPMS in configuration, development and production. More than 60% of the original sensors are produced in their factories.
TRI-RIM Tried and Tested, Now Even Further Improved
The rim system for trucks, buses and trailers, already long established in the market, has now been further developed into a high-precision, individual safety component in 20" and 24" size segments for single and dual tyres.

Advantages of the rim system:
•Ruggedness and the highest degree of safety, even with additional loading
•Easy wheel changing
•Safe wheel changing
•Longevity and durability

Vehicles equipped with disc wheels can be converted to our TRI-RIM® system (20" and 24"). The TRI-RIM® system is comprised of parts, each of the best quality in regards to tolerances and mechanical properties. The complete system is proven and certified by renowned test laboratories, where it is tested under very tough operating conditions to ensure the required ruggedness and highest degree of safety.
