Now in its 16th edition, Automechanika Dubai 2018 is the largest trade and networking exhibition for the wider Middle East and Africa’s automotive aftermarket, featuring more than 2,000 exhibitors from 55 countries.
The global appeal of the three-day event in 2018 is underlined by the presence of more than 20 country pavilions and 35 international trade associations, while 90 per cent of exhibitors, and 51 per cent of visitors are expected to come from outside of the UAE.
The trade fair covers the full range of parts for motor vehicles as well as components for the drive, chassis, body, electrics and electronic groups. It also covers equipment for vehicle service and repair, bodywork repair and painting, tyres, batteries and performance systems.
Automechanika Dubai is the perfect platform to meet new contacts, discuss new trends and technological developments, and to keep up to date with industry knowledge and source new products and solutions from the world over.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme.
In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international/national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, AUMA, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
