How is a universal joint measured?
This depends entirely on the type of universal joint. For universal joints with external locking, internal locking, cover locking and embossed locking, the bushing diameter must be measured once and the distance from the end of the bushing to the end of the bushing must also be measured.
For Wingstyle universal joints, a distinction must be made between high and low bosses in addition to the hole spacing (center hole - center hole on one boss, as well as center hole to center hole of the opposite bosses), the hole type (with threaded hole or smooth).
